Merry Christmas from Foundation Church

We want to invite you to join us for the Advent season. Advent comes from the Latin word adventus, meaning “arrival” or “coming”. It marks a deeply significant season in the Christian calendar. Spanning the four weeks leading up to Christmas, it is a time of preparation and anticipation, inviting us to reflect on the dual meaning of Christ’s coming: His humble birth in Bethlehem and one day, His promised return as eternal King and righteous Judge.

At its heart, Advent is a season of great hope. Each week of Advent represents a key theme - hope, peace, joy and love - serving as weekly reminders of God’s promises. Advent ultimately leads to the celebration of Christmas, marked by our Candlelight Christmas Eve Service, when God’s promise is fulfilled in the birth of Jesus. This journey is a sacred pause in the rhythm of life that draws us closer to the mystery of God’s love for each of us.
